Peter founded Mesa West Directional in 2007, concentrating operations in the Four Corners region of Colorado, New Mexico and Utah. Before Mesa West, Peter supported Ryan Energy as a Technical Liaison for MWD research and development. He also consulted as a Directional Driller for numerous producers all over North America from 1996 until founding Mesa West Directional in 2007. Peter's technical background and execution strategies have helped build market share across the United States while adhering to “Good Oilfield Practices”. With this growth, from North Dakota to Texas, Peter has been able to sustain the culture, versatility and accountability of a mid-market service company.
Joining Mesa West in 2015, John has helped build a client base by implementing new technology with the highest standards and providing “Turn Key” and long-term pricing to protect their clients. With this approach, John has been able to increase Mesa West’s market share year after year. Before joining Mesa West Directional, John was the USA Operations Manager for another mid-market directional service company and gained years of field and technical experience with PathFinder Energy Services on high profile unconventional projects throughout the world.
As VP of Sales & Accounting, Lacinda has focused on creating and executing sales strategies utilizing the fundamentals of Mesa West Directional. Her business ethics and morals, combined with attention to detail and reliability have allowed Mesa West to grow with continued return clients. Lacinda’s financial account analysis and strategies have allowed Mesa West to invest in new technology and increase their market share.
Prior to joining Mesa West Directional, Lacinda was with Enseco Energy Services as a Sales Manager helping to grow the company client base. Lacinda also gained valuable industry experience when she served as a Field Sales Rep. for Mpact Motors.
Nick oversees all MWD and Directional operations. His wealth of experience has come from years with PathFinder Energy Services MWD/LWD suites before moving on to directional drilling and has led some of the first RSS jobs in Canada and initial test runs with at bit sensors. Nick has been involved with unconventional applications such as well interceptions and well twinning utilizing ranging technology. This experience has allowed Nick to help build reliability and innovative solutions to Mesa West's current and future scope of work. Nick also takes care of all in-house well planning and BHA analysis.
